The International Human Rights Day is next Tuesday, December 10. As Vietnam was recently elected to the United Nations Human Rights Council, the Network of Vietnamese Bloggers will organize a series of events to promote, foster, and celebrate Human Rights values.
On Sunday, December 8, 2013, the Network of Vietnamese Bloggers will conduct social gatherings at the following locations:
- Hà Nội: From 3pm, at Thống Nhất (Lenin) Park, Trần Nhân Tông gateway
- Sài Gòn: From 5pm to 7pm, at 23/9 Park, opposite to Quách Thị Trang roundabout

The Network of Vietnamese Bloggers would like to cordially invite all friends to join the gatherings, to talk and discuss human rights, disseminate UN materials on human rights, release balloons, ride bicycles and light candles to celebrate the values of human rights, which the Vietnamese government has committed itself to upholding.
On Tuesday evening, December 10, 2013, at its official inauguration, the Network of Vietnamese Bloggers will hold meetings to discuss on its plans and activities to be taken to improve human rights in Vietnam. Further information of these meetings will be announced soon.
